Jerry’s Café in Kermit is also a local owned restaurant. Jerry also is a very amazing person, you can count on seeing all the town locals from morning hours to late afternoon lunch. she has a great salad bar and if she’s working you can count on her coming by and saying hello.
Chicken fried steak with brown gravy did not disappoint it was delicious. My side was fried okra which was hot fresh and tasty. Lady who checked me out I have never seen her before but she was very friendly and even reassured my order with me. She was very apologetic about the wait however I did not mind at all. I would have added a photo but who has time for that when hungry lol.
Stopped in for lunch and it absolutely hit the spot. Had the burger and salad bar — both excellent. Service was fast, friendly, and personal, and the portions were perfect for a working man’s appetite. Great small-town diner feel with real hospitality. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!

I had a review wrote out being negative about this place over a mistake and I want to say they reached out to me and explained the situation and offered a refund.the burgers we got were great 👍 and for the simple mistake made. everyone makes mistakes and and grace is important. I threw a fit but worth more than the money she called and offered to make it right and I will absolutely return buying our big orders so for the resteraunt im sorry for rushing into wrighting a negative review great food and great customer service
